Here are some words that were used on this web page with their deffination that you may have not understood.

1. Lactic Acid Fermentation: An Anaerobic process when enzymes break down glucose into lactic acid and transfer the energy into ATP. Sauerkraut is an example of something that is made by lactic acid fermentation.

2. Alcoholic Fermentation: An Anaerobic process when enzymes break down glucose in ethanol and CO2 and transfer energy to ATP.

3. Coenzyme: A reusable helper molecule that helps enzymes activate chemical reactions. It is a non protein.

4. Anaerobic Respiration: An effective respiration without the use of oxygen. This involves step 1 of glycolysis.

5. Aerobic Respiration: Requiring oxygen, opposite of Anaerobic Respiration

6. Endothermic: Reaction where the energy amount of the products is more than the reactants amount of energy.

7. Exothermic: Reaction where the energy amount of the products is less than the reactants amount of energy.

8. Cytosol: The internal fluid of the cell, also called cytoplasm.

9. Homeostasis: Regulation which attempts to keep it at an equilibrium.

10. Oxidative Decarboxylation: Another name for Transition Reactions

11. Chimiosmosis: The same as osmosis but instead of water its chemicals.

12. Catabolized: Breakdown of complex molecules into simpler ones, often resulting in a release of energy.

13. Mitochondria: An organelle bound by a double membrane, found in all eukaryotes.
